Crowns

Usually, dental crowns are made in order to protect the teeth from all sides. In many instances, teeth after root canal treatment require full coverage in order to avoid fractures and protect them long-term. They can do many things at once as well as veneers,  and because they have so much in common let's dive into them!

Veneers

Dental veneers offer several benefits for individuals looking to improve the appearance of their teeth. Veneers are thin shells made from materials such as porcelain or composite resin that are custom-designed to cover the front surface of teeth. Here are some of the key benefits of dental veneers:

Improved Aesthetics: Veneers can instantly transform the appearance of your teeth. They can be used to correct a variety of cosmetic issues, including stained or discolored teeth, chipped or cracked teeth, misaligned teeth, and gaps between teeth. Veneers can create a whiter, straighter, and more attractive smile.

Minimal Tooth Reduction: Unlike some dental procedures that require significant tooth reduction, veneers typically require only a minimal amount of enamel to be removed. This means that more of your natural tooth structure is preserved compared to procedures like crowns.

Customizable: Veneers are custom-made to match the color, shape, and size of your natural teeth. Your dentist will work with you to choose the shade of veneers that best suits your desired smile.

Stain-Resistant: Porcelain veneers are highly resistant to staining from foods, beverages, and tobacco. This means that your veneers will maintain their white appearance over time.

Durability: Veneers are durable and can last for many years with proper care. They are less prone to chipping and staining compared to natural teeth.

Natural Look and Feel: Porcelain veneers, in particular, have a translucent quality that mimics the appearance of natural tooth enamel. This makes them blend seamlessly with your surrounding teeth.

Minimal Discomfort: The process of getting veneers is generally minimally invasive and relatively painless. It typically involves removing a small amount of enamel and then bonding the veneers to the teeth.

Quick Results: Veneers can provide quick results. In just a few dental appointments, you can achieve a significantly improved smile.

Versatility: Veneers can be used to address a single tooth with a cosmetic issue or multiple teeth, depending on your needs.

Boosted Confidence: Many people experience a boost in self-confidence and self-esteem after getting veneers because they are no longer self-conscious about the appearance of their teeth.

It's important to note that while veneers offer numerous benefits, they are primarily a cosmetic dental solution. They are not typically used to address structural or functional issues with teeth, and they may not be suitable for everyone. Consult with a qualified dentist to determine if veneers are a suitable option for your specific dental concerns. Additionally, maintaining good oral hygiene practices is essential to ensure the longevity and health of your veneers.

Bridges

We looked into dental bridges when we were talking about single tooth replacement, but we can use them to replace a few teeth as well, It all depends on where in the mouth and how big the teeth we are looking to replace. In our opinion it is the best option for medically compromized patients and patient who cannot wait or cannot afford dental implants and looking into crowning teeth next to the defect for occlusal or other reasons
